"The Tempest"

The Tempest
William Shakespeare
Stanford TAPS (Theatre and Performance Studies)

Hamzed Daoud
An impressive, engrossing, and highly entertaining production of William Shakespeare’s The Tempest has opened at Stanford TAPS (the Theatre and Performance Studies department of Stanford University).  This final play of the Bard’s with its multiple themes and lines that can be seen as the Great One’s farewell to his career is imaginatively and magically directed by the much-awarded and nationally known playwright, Amy Freed – a gift both for the audience and student cast of seventeen.

My full review can be read on Talkin' Broadway: http://www.talkinbroadway.com/page/regional/sanjose/sj75.html.
